Services & pricing

Three services, one process, prices you can read before you call.

Everything below is fixed price and agreed in writing before work starts. The process is the same whether you take one service or all three, and it begins with a diagnosis rather than a design.

What I do

In the order they matter.

A well-designed site nobody visits is an expensive business card. So the work runs in sequence: get found, turn visits into enquiries, then keep the customers you've earned.

01 · Get found

Local search

Most of your customers start with a search on their phone. The job is to be there, with a listing that looks like a real business, when they do.

  • Google Business Profile set up and verified, with categories, services and photos done properly
  • Service-area pages for the towns you actually serve
  • Technical basics: titles, structured data, sitemap, speed
  • A review request process you won't be embarrassed to use
  • Google Ads, only where the maths works, and I'll show you the maths

02 · Convert

Website design & build

A site that loads in under two seconds, says what you do in the first line, and makes calling or booking obvious on a phone. Built by hand, owned by you.

  • Diagnosis first: a written account of what's losing you customers now
  • Design and copy developed together, mobile first
  • Copy written for your customer, by me, in your voice
  • Booking, quote forms and tap-to-call wired to where you'll actually see them
  • Photography direction, so real jobs replace stock images
  • Domain, hosting, email and redirects handled at launch

03 · Retain

Follow-up & marketing

Most of the revenue is in the second job, not the first. Steady follow-up that runs without you having to remember it, reported in one page a month.

  • Email list, welcome sequence and seasonal campaigns
  • Automated follow-up on quotes that went quiet
  • Retargeting for visitors who didn't call the first time
  • Ongoing content and search tuning
  • A monthly report: calls, forms, where they came from, in plain English

How it works

Five steps. About three weeks.

The same sequence every time, so you know what happens next and what you'll be asked for. Your total time commitment is about three hours.

01

Call

Twenty minutes. You tell me what's broken and what a good month looks like. Free, and if you don't need me I'll say so.You bring: nothing. I'll have looked at your current site and listing before we talk.

02

Diagnosis & scope

A short written account of what is actually costing you customers, with evidence, and a one-page scope with a fixed price and a date. Nothing starts until you've read it and said yes in writing. You bring: an hour to talk about your customers and your best jobs.

03

Build

Design and copy together, not one after the other. You see the homepage first, under the guarantee below, then the full site at the halfway point and again before launch. You bring: one round of feedback on the draft, and any real photos you have.

04

Launch

I handle the domain, hosting, email and the unglamorous redirect work so nothing you already rank for is lost. You get every file and a short video showing how to update the site yourself. You bring: access to the domain and any existing hosting.

05

Measure

Calls, forms, and where they came from, in one page a month. No dashboard homework. If something isn't working, the report says so and what I'm changing. You bring: ten minutes to read it.

The guarantee

See the first design before you're committed.

You pay a deposit, I design the homepage, and you look at it. If it isn't right and you don't want to continue, I refund the deposit in full and you owe nothing. No argument, no invoice for hours spent.

I can offer that because the diagnosis comes first. By the time I'm designing, I already know what your customers are looking for. The risk sits with me, which is where it belongs.

Pricing

Posted, so you don't have to ask.

Every project is a fixed price, agreed in writing before anything starts. If yours doesn't fit one of these, I quote it the same way: one page, one number, one date.

Add it on

Prices are for a typical local service business. A larger site, e-commerce, or custom tooling like the sourcing tool in the AragoCor case study is quoted separately, the same way: a written scope and one number before anything starts. Deposits are half up front; the balance is due at launch.

Straight answers

The questions people ask before they call.

Who owns the website when we're done?

You do. The domain is registered in your name, the site and all its content are yours, and if you ever want to move it elsewhere I'll hand over everything and help the next person get set up. I don't hold work hostage.

What if I want to cancel the monthly plan?

Email me and it stops at the end of that month. No notice period, no exit fee. The site keeps working; you'd just need somewhere to host it, and I'll help you move it.

How does your pricing compare with an agency?

An agency's quote carries an office, salespeople and account managers. Mine doesn't. A cheaper option, a template or a relative with a laptop, usually won't write the copy, set up your Google profile, or still be answering emails next spring. You're paying for the work itself, done by the person you spoke to.

How long until I see results?

The site goes live in two to three weeks. Local search results usually move in six to twelve weeks; that's how long Google takes, and anyone promising faster is guessing. If we run ads, you'll see traffic within days, though it takes a few weeks to tune.

What do you need from me?

About three hours total: the first call, a session where I ask about your customers, and one round of feedback on the draft. I write the copy, so you don't have to. If you have photos of real jobs, send them; they beat stock photography every time.

What platform do you build on?

Whatever suits the job, chosen for you rather than for me. For most local businesses that's a fast, hand-built site with a simple way for you to edit text and photos. If you already run on a platform that works, I'll usually keep it. This site itself is hand-written HTML with no framework; the case study explains why.

Do you work with businesses outside Boulder County?

Yes, though most of my work is in Niwot and around Boulder, Longmont, Louisville and Lafayette. If you're further out, everything happens over video calls, which works fine. I'd just want to understand your market before quoting.

Will you say no to a project?

Yes. If the first call makes it clear that a new website won't fix the problem, or that someone else would do the job better, I'll tell you and point you to them. It costs me a project and saves you a lot more.
